About Taurus
Taurus was founded to answer one critical question: How do you put an access structure into an energised or high-consequence environment without the scaffold itself multiplying the risk?
Heavy steel provides load capacity but creates massive handling fatigue and continuous electrical pathways. Aluminium reduces mass but remains highly conductive.
Following a dedicated five-year research and development program, Premier Scaffolds Group engineered the answer: The Taurus Scaffolding System
Conductivity was the design driver from day one. The weight saving was the bonus we discovered along the way.

Meet the Taurus System
One patented innovation. Three previously incompatible properties.
The Taurus® has been engineered to solve problems conventional scaffolding systems cannot.
Rather than forcing project teams to compromise between structural performance, weight, and electrical conductivity, Taurus delivers all three in one patented modular system.
Approximately 55% Lighter Than Steel
Engineering Capability: High-strength aluminium profile reduces structural dead-weight mass.
Site Advantage: Compresses freight logistics, optimises crane utilisation, and lowers manual handling fatigue.
Fast Wedge-Lock Assembly
Engineering Capability: High-speed, modular wedge-lock connection mechanism.
Site Advantage: Accelerates erection and dismantle cycles, shortening planned shutdown windows.
Acoustic & Vibration Damping
Engineering Capability: Structural-polymer joint matrix absorbs physical impact energy at node interfaces.
Site Advantage: Dampens metallic noise and structural vibration, protecting fragile historical or finished architectural substrates. windows.
High Thermal Resilience
Engineering Capability: Structural-polymer Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) rated to 215°C (419°F).
Site Advantage: Maintains total mechanical integrity under extreme industrial heat cycles and hostile ambient site conditions.
