The Challenge
Conventional scaffold was not built for heritage fabric. Conductive steel access is a risk multiplier on live sites; steel weight slows erection and adds manual-handling and crane load; weight and finish both matter on the structures that cannot be replaced. The Taurus Transom™ was engineered for exactly these environments.
Access that protects the structure you are restoring.
Heritage structures set the rules: limited bearing points, fragile finishes, no tolerance for impact damage. At roughly half the weight of comparable steel systems (component weigh-in basis, 30 June 2026), and comparable in weight to premium aluminium, the Taurus Transom™ reduces the load your scaffold imposes on the fabric it is there to protect, and lighter components mean gentler handling in confined historic settings.
Reduced conductivity
Reduced conductivity for high-energy environments.
Lighter than Steel
Roughly half the weight of conventional steel systems (component weigh-in basis, 30 June 2026).
Structural Integrity
Rated heavy duty at 6.6 kN (675 kg) per bay, per working platform level under AS/NZS 1576.1.
