It started with a problem steel could not solve.
The Taurus Transom was designed to answer one question: how do you put an access structure into an energised environment without the structure itself multiplying the risk? Conductivity was the design driver from day one. The weight saving was the bonus we discovered along the way; weight did not even come into the original brief. Five years of engineering later, both now define the system. Today the Taurus Transom is a complete system of 25 core components, designed and manufactured in Brisbane by Premier Manufacturing, and proven in daily service across our group’s own Australian operations for around three years.

Premier Scaffolds delivers tailored access solutions across South East Queensland’s private, commercial and infrastructure sectors. Premier Manufacturing is the group’s in-house manufacturing arm and builds the Taurus Transom in Brisbane. Premier Standards leads the group’s standards and certification work. The Operator School trains the next generation of access operators. Taurus Scaffolding Systems is the group’s international brand: engineered in Australia, built for export markets worldwide.
