TEMPORARY ACCESS FOR LIVE, MISSION-CRITICAL DATA CENTERS
Engineered for live data center halls. Delivers 1,488 lb load capacity at half the weight of steel while breaking conductive pathways.

SPECIFICATIONS AT A GLANCE
Here is how Taurus delivers heavy-duty strength while keeping your floors and live data halls safe.
CONVENTIONAL SCAFFOLD WAS NOT BUILT FOR LIVE WHITE SPACE
Modern data center builds demand fast turnaround times, but traditional steel scaffolding creates operational liabilities inside energized halls:
Continuous Electrical Conductive Paths
Standard steel access creates continuous metallic pathways that introduce electrical risks during staged white-space energization.
Excessive Dead Weight
Heavy steel staging risks damaging sensitive raised access flooring, overloads concourse slab limits, and slows down overhead installation.
Crane & Labor Overhead
Heavy components increase handling fatigue and require slow, labor-intensive rigging inside restricted indoor footprints.
WHERE IT’S USED IN DATA CENTERS
Overhead MEP & Busway Installation
Provides stable, heavy-duty working platforms for installing high-density cable trays, containment, and busways.
Staged White-Space Energization
Allows contractor teams to safely maintain overhead access in adjacent halls while power turn-on proceeds.
Raised Floor & Sensitive Substrate Protection
Aluminum-class system mass reduces point-loading risks on sensitive access floors and sub-floor infrastructure.
Rapid De-Rig & Hall Transitions
Fast-assembly component profile speeds up strike times, allowing fast handovers between fit-out trades.

DATA CENTER ENGINEERING FACTORS
1. Reduced Conductivity (Patented Node Technology)
Instead of adding temporary insulating covers, non-conductive polymer node joints are built directly into the system connection points (PCT Patent WO/2024/254650). These joints disrupt continuous metal-to-metal pathways across the scaffold structure.
2. Steel Capacity at Half the Weight of Conventional Aluminum
The system delivers a certified 6.6 kN (1,488 lbs / 675 kg) heavy-duty bay rating under AS/NZS 1576.1 while matching the handling weight of premium aluminum systems. This halves dead-weight loading on floors and cuts crew handling strain.
3. Closed Hardware Profile
Built from 25 core components to prevent unapproved, mismatched scaffold hardware from being mixed into the build on live site floors.
